Doctor Who: Read Through For The 50th Anniversary Show Is Complete



The sideburns are back!

The read through for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special took place today with Matt Smith and David Tennant in attendance. The BBC Doctor Who Official Twitter account have just tweeted the above photo from the conclusion of today's work on the show.

David Tennant and Billie Piper were officially confirmed as cast members for the special on Saturday with John Hurt also named. Further cast members are due to be announced shortly. They will be joining current Doctor Matt Smith and new companion Jenna-Louise Coleman in the celebratory episode written by current showrunner Steven Moffat.

The 50th Anniversary Special is expected to air on Saturday 23rd November.
