Broadchurch Creative Team To Attend The London Screenwriters Festival 2013

Chris Chibnall and Richard Stokes, the creative team behind the hit ITV drama Broadchurch will be among the guest speakers at this year's London Screenwriters Festival. The eight part drama starring David Tennant and Olivia Colman was a huge ratings success and the most tweeted about TV drama ever, and has been sold to broadcasters around the world including stations in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Spain.

Other speakers at the event include Doctor Who writers Phil Ford (The Waters Of Mars) and James Moran (The Fires Of Pompeii), and David Hare, who wrote the BBC Radio 4 play Murder In Samarkand, which starred David Tennant as controversial former British ambassador Craig Murray.

The London Screenwriters’ Festival is the world’s biggest professional screenwriting event. The annual gathering of emerging and established screenwriters with over 600 attendees, and with 100 sessions, 140 industry expert speakers and the biggest names in film and TV in attendance (from both the UK and Hollywood), the LSF has become the premiere screenwriting event to attend. This year’s event takes place from the 25th to 27th October 2013 at the London School of Film, Media & Performance, Regent's College, London, UK
