Yesterday members of the cast of Gracepoint, including David Tennant and Anna Gunn, took part in a promotional photoshoot for the series on Island View Beach, Vancouver Island. The ten part event series from FOX TV is expected to premiere as part of the 2014-15 season.
In addition a number of media outlets report that they interviewed cast members. Daniel Fienberg of HitFix, who took part in a group interview with David, described him as 'charming and Scottish'.
Gracepoint follows the impact on a sleepy Californian coastal town of the death of a young boy whose body is found on the picturesque beach at the foot of cliffs. The investigation is led by Detectives Emmett Carver and Ellie Miller, played by David Tennant and Anna Gunn. The series is closely based on the award-winning UK drama Broadchurch although the producers have promised a different ending. David, who is reprising his role as lead investigator, said in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, "...as the story goes on...there's extra twists and turns. I think the story will go in directions that fans wouldn't necessarily recognise."
