ON BBC One North West Tonight: Love Letter To Manchester - An Interview With The Creator Of Blackpool

TV viewers in the North West of the UK will be able to watch a feature tonight on Peter Bowker and look out for clips from the writer's 2004 drama series Blackpool starring David Tennant, Sarah Parish and David Morrissey. The programme and interview, Love Letter To Manchester, includes contributions from Sarah Parish and Christopher Eccleston and clips from the writer's work. The show is presented by Tony Livesey.

Peter Bowker has enjoyed a successful writing career spanning from 1992 to the present day, and his projects have included Blackpool, Flesh And Blood, Desperate Romantics, Occupation and Wuthering Heights. His latest work, From There To Here, starring Philip Glenister, is currently airing on BBC One on Thursday nights.
