PHOTO: New Production Image From What We Did On Our Holiday



BBC Films have updated their listing for the upcoming David Tennant comedy feature What We Did On Our Holiday with a new image from the film.

The photo shows David Tennant and Rosamund Pike as Doug and Abi McLeod and their three on-screen children played by Emilia Jones, Bobby Smalldridge and Harriet Turnbull indulging in some seaside play.

What We Did On Our Holiday is a joint production between BBC Films and Origin Pictures in association with Creative Scotland and LipSync Productions. It is written and directed by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin, the creators of the BBC sitcom Outnumbered, and is produced by David M. Thompson and Dan Winch.

Other cast includes Billy Connolly, Ben Miller, Amelia Bullmore, Annette Crosbie and Celia Imrie.

What We Did On Our Holiday
Doug (David Tennant) and Abi (Rosamund Pike) and their three children travel to the Scottish Highlands for Doug's father Gordie's (Billy Connolly) birthday party. It's soon clear that when it comes to keeping a secret under wraps from the rest of the family, their children are their biggest liability...

Baz Bamigboye of the Daily Mail describes the movie as  "...heart-warming, joyous and quite courageous."

What We Did On Our Holiday will be released in cinemas across the UK on Friday 26th September.
