VIDEO: New Trailer For What We Did On Our Holiday Starring David Tennant & Rosamund Pike

Digital Spy have posted an exclusive first look at a brand new teaser trailer for the new BBC Films feature What We Did On Our Holiday.

The bittersweet comedy, written and directed by Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton, the creative team behind TV sitcom Outnumbered, stars David Tennant, Rosamund Pike, Billy Connolly and Ben Miller as an extended family brought reluctantly together to celebrate a family event.

David Tennant  and Rosamund Pike star as Doug and Abi McLeod, a warring couple whose marriage is on the rocks. When they are invited to celebrate the 75th birthday of Doug's eccentric father Gordy (Billy Connolly) in the Scottish Highlands they are forced to put their differences aside temporarily to make the trip up north with their three children (Emilia Jones, Bobby Smalldridge and Harriet Turnbull) in a painful sham of unity. But how convincing is their show of love and togetherness in the face of friends and family? And can they hold everything together in the face of an overwhelming event? The film also stars Ben Miller as Doug's uptight brother Gavin with Amelia Bullmore as his wife Margaret and Celia Imrie as social worker Agnes Chisholm.
