UK EVENT: David Tennant Returns As Richard II At The Barbican Tonight


David Tennant makes his return to the London stage this evening as he reprises his award winning role as Richard II as part of the Royal Shakespeare Company's King And Country event.

Richard is King. A monarch ordained by God to lead his people. But he is also a man of very human weakness. A man whose vanity threatens to divide the great houses of England and drag his people into a dynastic civil war that will last 100 years. RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran directs David Tennant in the title role.

David will play just 9 performances at the Barbican Centre this month, making the show one of the hottest tickets in town..

The dates David will be appearing are as follows:
7 January 2016 - 7.15pm
8 January 2016 - 7.15pm
9 January 2016 - 1.30pm and 7.15pm
10 January 2016 - 2.00pm

He will also perform during the Complete Cycles  on the following dates:
12th January 2016 - 7.15pm
15th January 2016 - 7.15pm
19th January 2016 - 7.15pm
22nd January 2016 - 7.15pm
