More Cast Changes For New David Tennant RomCom As Peter Davison Bows Out

There's bad news for Doctor Who fans who were hoping to see the Fifth and Tenth Doctors performing together on the silver screen - Peter Davison has had to leave the cast of You, Me And Him. He cites a scheduling conflict for his withdrawal from the new UK romcom, which stars David Tennant, and is produced by Davison's daughter Georgia Moffett.

You, Me And Him, formerly known as Fish Without Bicycles, is a witty romantic comedy set in middle class England about two female lovers, one, Olivia, a career driven lawyer (Lucy Punch) and the other, Alex, a fun loving, pot smoking layabout (Faye Marsay). While neither woman ever wanted children, both end up pregnant, creating conflicts that cause each to re-examine their outlook on life and their relationship. David Tennant plays John, their annoying Casanova neighbour, who is responsible for one of the pregnancies.

Rising Damp star Don Warrington is a new name among the star-studded cast, joining other recently announced additions Sally Phillips, David Warner and Simon Bird. The movie also stars Nina Sosanya, Ingrid Oliver, Sarah Parish and Gemma Jones.

You, Me And Him is written and directed by Daisy Aitkens who describes it as"...a fresh, moving and funny take on the traditional rom-com." The four week shoot begins on Monday 31st October in Stratford-upon-Avon with a cinema release planned for late 2017. The film will be co-produced by Bad Penny's Phin Glynn and Harriet Hammond.
