VIDEO: Watch David Tennant Accept His Best Actor Award At The TV Choice Awards

It was a big night for David Tennant and the Broadchurch cast and crew at last night's TV Choice Awards at London's Dorchester Hotel. Not only did the third and final series scoop the Best Drama award, but both leads walked away with an award each, with David Tennant winning Best Actor and Olivia Colman taking Best Actress.

David is no stranger to the TV Choice awards stage, he has lifted the trophy three times for his role as detective Alec Hardy in Broadchurch, and had four previous wins thanks to Doctor Who and Single Father.

David was joined at the ceremony, by his wife, the actress and producer and Georgia Tennant, who he praised and thanked during his speech.

The pair were photographed leaving the star studded bash with David clutching his award.

David and Georgia, who met on the set of Doctor Who, will be working together again soon, when their new movie project You, Me And Him hits cinemas later this year.
